IPU Quick Guide to NFPA 20

The NFPA 20 standard is a set of guidelines that outline the performance expected from stationary pumps for fire protection.

Section 11.2.7 applies to the use of air and hydraulic engine starters. The latest requirements for engine starting systems released in 2019 are more demanding than in the preceding 2016 edition.
